Biography

• Diana was baptized at St Peter and St Paul Lingfield on 23 November 1794 as the daughter of Isaac and Mary Leney. ^[1]

• She married Thomas Hooker on 21st September 1825 at St Mary Newington (late St Peter's Church Walworth), Diana and Thomas both signed the register and their witnesses were Isaac Leney and Mary Ann King, Diana's brother, and sister. ^[2]

• Thomas and Diana lived at Smallfield Place Farm Burstow with their two children Thomas and Susannah.^{[3] [4] [5]}

Diana died at Smallfield Place in May 1868 ^[6] and was buried at St John Blindley Heath on 29 May 1868 aged 72. ^[7]
