Jacob Leonard, born about 1647 in Duxbury, Plymouth Colony, was the son of Sarah (Chandler) Leonard and her husband Solomon Leonard.[1]

Jacob's first wife died by 1680 and he m. (2) Susannah King.
Residences
Jacob served in the King Phillip's War of 1676. He was in Weymouth, MA by 1679, in Worcester by 1684 and returned to Bridgewater in 1693.

Jacob's will is dated 14 December 1716 and proved on 19 December 1717 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Susanna, his daughters, Abigail Washbourne (eldest), Susanna Hill, Experience Leonard, Mary Leonard, and Sarah Leonard, and his two sons, Solomon Leonard, and Jacob Leonard. His inventory was taken on 9 September 1717.
