Biography

Thomas Lewis is an Indigenous Australian.

Thomas Lewis was born on Aug 13, 1831, in New South Wales to John Lewis Ferdinand and Sarah (Biddy) Wallace. [1] [2]

On 26 Nov 1868, he married Susan (Olden) Lewis [3]

In 1883, he is reported as working at the Tizanna winery but is unable to pay the school fees for his children at the Sackville Reach Public School, so he joined his extended family at Marra Marra Creek. [4]

He died on 18 May 1913 at Auburn New South Wales [5]
