Research Notes

His parentage is unknown. He has been detached from John Lewis as father due to lack of evidence.

  • Deleted first name of John. No evidence of his name being anything other than Zachary.
  • It appears that Lewis profiles were commingled; there are actually multiple Lewis families.

This Refers to the Chemokin Lewis' Family; WARNER HALL Plantation [3] No "Zachary" verified this line. John married Isabella Miller, daughter of James Miller the Elder of York County-- two sons John and Edward. Isabella's brother James - no heirs - land reverted to Isabella - then sons

contains the following statement:

  • "The records of St Peter’s Parish do not support any more children than the two sons John and Edward. (No real documentary verification ever found in a vast array of Web/Ancestry trees. )

What evidence is there this man actually had two names? This looks like GED fiction and a wrong merge of discrete people. We should fix that, or prove it. The current profile is problematic, as is.
