Mary (Lewis) Bryant immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Mary Lewis was a daughter of George and Mary (Doggett) Lewis, baptized 27 December 1625 at Brenchley, Kent, England.[1][2] She emigrated with her family to New England, probably in the latter half of 1634. The family was located in Staplehurst, Kent, England, in 15 April 1934, when the Staplehurst parishioners were charged with responsibility for the care of Mary (Doggett) Lewis and her children.[3] The Lewis family was also in that same parish on 25 May 1634 for the baptism of Edward, the last child of George and Mary (Doggett) Lewis born in England.[4]
Mary Lewis, daughter of George, married John Bryant at Scituate, Plymouth Colony, on 14 November 1643. [2][5]
Mary (Lewis) Bryant died 2 July 1655 in Scituate, leaving her widowed husband, John, with six small children, ages 2 thru 11.[6] Those six children of John Bryant Sr. (abt.1618-1684) and Mary (Lewis) Bryant (1625-1655) were:

Mary/Sarah Jenkins has been disproven. Mary Doggett was the wife of George Lewis. See: Remington, George Lewis. Mary Doggett, Wife of George Lewis of Brenchley, Kent, and Scituate, Massachusetts. The American Genealogist, Vol 72: 1997

I have three references that John Bryant-8 was married to Mary Lewis, daughter of George and Mary (Jenkins) Lewis of Barnstable. Please provide the exact reference that contradicts this within Anderson's book. I do not have access to Anderson's book. Here is one reference: Descendants of John Briant, Sen. p47. When I proposed the merge, the two Mary (Lewis) Bryant profiles did not have conflicting mothers, but when I looked a few minutes ago, Sarah Jenkins showed as mother on one of them. I can't see evidence of how that happened.
Remington's evidence for the mother of Mary Lewis is very clear. Her mother was Mary Doggett, not Sarah Jenkins. I've edited the profile accordingly.
