I was born in Vernon, BC, Canada. I grew up in Lumby, BC. I am only just beginning this process of finding information about my ancestry. Not a lot is known about my fathers side beyond my late grandfather. He was born in England and arrived in Canada at about age 3. He was son to what we believe was an American in the air force, stationed in England around 1918, who's last name was likely Hamilton - as was given to him as a middle name.

Hi Morgan, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in Scotland. I wanted to let you know we have a great project that focuses on Scottish Clans here called Scottish Clans Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the Scottish Clan Project will be happy to help you in any way they can. Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.

Good luck with your research.

I know very little about my family history but for stories. I want to learn more. If I can't find more information I want to at least start building a tree from this point forward. I do know we came from Britain and Scotland but that's about it.
