Services for Lloyd Henry Lewis, Sr., were held October 15, 2007, at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Harris, Rev. John Mosley and Rev. Dennis Coats officiated.

Mr. Lewis, 86, of Stonewall, died October 13, 2007, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 25, 1921, in Waynesboro to Henry and Dora Lee Callaway Satcher Lewis. He was retired from Burlington Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Lewis, Quitman; two sons, Lloyd Lewis, Jr., Quitman, and Jimmy Ray Lewis, Stonewall; two daughters, Joyce L. Vondran, Lufkin, TX; and Gaynell L. Garner, Vossburg; a brother, James L. Lewis, Stonewall; a sister, Rosie Mae Odom, Stonewall; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
