Lydia Lewis, daughter of Lewis Lewis and Mary Powell, was born on 5 February 1709 in Chester county, Pennsylvania Colony. ^[1]

Lydia and William Garrett declared their Intention to marry on 21 October 1728 at the Quaker Montly Meeting in Goshen, Chester county, Pennsylvania. ^[2]

Lydia Lewis and William Garrett were married on 5 February 1729 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. ^{[3] [4]} They had at least the following children:
