Cannot anything that leads to the parents of Jesse Lewis b. 1790 died in Georgia 1850. I am a descendant of Jesse. Familysearch says it is a James Lewis which it is not. Also, Geni.com says Willis Lewis which is not because he married in 1811 and Jesse was born in 1790. There has to be a clue somewhere but nobody seems to find it. Help please by anyone. There are lots of Jesse's descendants in south Georgia. email me at rlynnstrickland @yahoo.com
