Shubal Lewis was christened on September 29, 1705 in Barnstable, Massachusetts Colony.^[1]He was the son of John Lewes and Elizabeth Huckens^[2]

His wife Mary was admitted to the church in Barnstable in 1739^[3]

On 6/5/1735 in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts he married Mary Hopkins (Snow)^[4] They had the following children,
