Profile had more than one date/place of birth, including Dinwiddie County before Dinwiddie County existed. Dinwiddie County was formed from Prince George County in 1752.[4]
The biography included "he was born about 1755 in Albemarle County, Virginia", citing his DAR record, which says that he was born before 1750 in Virginia and lists Dinwiddie County as his residence/service in Virginia. It is likely that Albemarle Parish was meant. Albemarle County is not adjacent to Dinwiddie County, unlike Surry County, then Sussex County, which were served by Albemarle Parish.[5]
