Biography

William's parents were John Lewis and Elizabeth Stephens. He was born about 1842 in England. He married Lydia Madge on 8 Apr 1863, at Huron Ontario.^[1]

After the death of Lydia Madge about 1869, William remarried a widow, Charlotte Andrews (nee Jory) and has more children.

He died in 1921. At the time of his death, he was a retired veterinary surgeon.^[2]
