Woodrow Wilson Lewis was born February 27, 1914 in Dayton, Arkansas to Thomas Charles Lewis and Ola Della Cowan. He was married June 22, 1939 to Mary Katherine Efurd in Dayton. They produced one child: Woodrow Gene. Woodrow was killed in action December 20, 1944 along the southern French/German border during World War II. He is buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
