His will is dated 9 November 1756 and proved on 24 June 1766 in Fairfield. He mentions his sons, David, John (eldest) and James, and his two daughters, Mary wife of Rev. Mr. Goodsell, and Abigail, wife of Nehemiah Beardslee.[2]
