- Watana Romayne Lewis Riechmann was born
8 Oct 1925 in Centralia; Marion County; Illinois. Her parents are Thomas Earl Butler and Zoe Mae Hamilton.
Watana completed high school also and got her first job at the telephone company as a long distant telephone operator. She worked there for many years and became a supervisor.
She married Irvin C. Riechmann in 1951. He was a World War II veteran. They were not married until after the war, but corresponded and knew each other 7 yrs. before they were married. They have one daughter, Gaylia Louise Riechmann.
Gaylia married Richard Criner and they had Noel, Janelle, Heidi, and Jason.
Irvin died 23 November 1993 (and was born 10 September 1916)
She died 5 March 1995 in Centralia; Marion , Illinois. She was buried two days later in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
