Biography
Mary Miknyocki, 69, widow of Ronald Miknyocki and mother to Cindiarose Miknyocki-Roznowski, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 after a three-year fight with lung cancer.
Mary loved fishing and was an avid sports fan. She spent countless hours rooting for her hometown Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and Lions.
She is also survived by her son-in-law, Scott Roznowski; brother, Joe Lewis; and brothers/sisters-in-law, Royln and Norm, Laura and John Miknyocki and Mary Ann and Randy Zingaro. She is also survived by many cherished nephews and nieces.
Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on Oct. 2, 1946 and spent most of her adult life enjoying the outdoors in East Tawas. After her husband's death, she moved to Rio Rancho, to be with her daughter.
She was a friend to those who were lucky to meet her and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and Poloma Blanca Nursing Facility for their excellent care.
A Michigan memorial will be held at a later date.
