Unknown-604417 and Lewis-11286 appear to represent the same person because: same similar dates, same husband

Also can we look in to who/ whom is connecting this family as she did NOT marry both William and his son nor vice versa (William and his father). Plus there are children who keep getting connected and disconnected from these various couples. Perhaps a Notes section would help?

Thanks for reading and considering- Becky

Hey All-

I just adopted a profile for Rebecca Clay Tiller and after some (quick and simple) research was able to identify her as NOT a duplicate of the actual daughter Rebecca of William Mitchell Clay and definitely not a daughter of Martha since she was born nearly 30 years after Martha passed. I have removed her as a child but please message me if you feel this is an error. Her wiki-id is Clay-867 . I feel someone connected other siblings in error as well because I am a descendant of Wm and Phoebe but not the Rebecca I adopted; however I am testing her profile as if I were a relative and it will be respected and filled out. Cheers! Becky Elizabeth Simmons-11603

I stopped my wiki tree for this line because of the controversy of Martha's maiden name. I have her as Martha Anne Lewis d/o John Lewis III & Elizabeth Warner, some are saying her maiden name is Runyon. There is also a ftdna page Martha Runyon Clay #148500221. My maternal direct line mother to mother to mother so on, myself Sheila Akins-650 DNA tested Ancestry. ftdna FF & mtfull (with other family tested also) d/o Edna Murphy-15194 d/o Ruby Shinn-1077 d/o Mary Reagin-45 d/o Mary Wiggins-2263 d/o Martha Kitchens-750 d/o Elizabeth Lumsden-484 d/o Elizabeth Belcher ? d/o Elizabeth Clay ? d/o Martha Anne Lewis ??? d/o Elizabeth Warner  ??? d/o Mildred Reade ??? d/o Elizabeth Martiau  ??? d/o Elizabeth Page ???. Now if any one else has a direct maternal line with one of these ladies you could test mtfull and see if we match.

there is no documentation available to prove who parents were. the source you quote in the bio called

Young-Murphy of Virginia and West Virginia - http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=gnu2222&id=I4375 for this person says her parents were, Father: John Lewis: Birth: 1685 in Donegal, Ireland. Death: 01 FEB 1762 in Stauton, Augusta Co, VA Mother: Margaret Lynn: Birth: in Ireland. these are not the same people you have wikitree links for in the bio.

your source you quote in her bio called anamericanfamilyhistory.com a someone's personal web page and contains no documentation to support a relationship to the parents wikitree links you have listed in the bio. this is an error that is copied over and over.

the source you quote in her bio called Our Family History lists her parents as unknown.

Runyan-103 and Runyon-407 are not ready to be merged because: The birthdates are different. Need to make sure there aren't two Martha Clay at about that time/location.
