Surveyor and Architect.' Mortimer Lewis was the last colonial Architect of Australia.
Mortimer William Lewis was born at London on the 25th of July 1795, and baptised on the 18th of August that year, son of Thomas and Caroline Lewis.[1]
Mortimer married Elizabeth Clements at St Marylebone, Middlesex, England on the 30th of January 1819.[2]
Mortimer Lewis died at Paddington, Colony of New South Wales, and was buried at South Head Cemetery.[3]
