Sarah Lewis was born in 1796 in Tennessee, the daughter of Mary and Amos. She married William Hart Seymore on July 24, 1810, in Rhea, Tennessee. They had seven children in 10 years. She died in 1875 in Texas having lived a long life of 79 years.
