Biography

Thomas was the first of the family to learn the trade of shoemaking. [1]

He was buried on November 12, 1774.[2] He made his last will on November 5, 1774 (proved January 2, 1775) in which he mentions:[3]

  • Elizabeth Lewis, "beloved wife"
  • Amos Lewis, son
  • Thomas Lewis, son
  • Nathaniel Lewis, son
  • Elizabeth Johnson, "wife of Timothy Johnson", daughter
