Research Notes
Find A Grave: Memorial #42027111 has same dates and spouse, BUT it has different parents. William Lewis 1596-1671 and Amey Weld Lewis 1615-1673. This findagrave memorial is wrong. It is based on a 5-generation stone in Lynn, MA, Find A Grave: Memorial #40480700, which shows that the son of William and Amey was born in 1644. The stone in the Malden, MA is for an Isaac Lewis born 1657. This Isaac Lewis was the son of John Lewis and Mary Browne. The heirs of this John Lewis are given in a 1695 deed.[11] The deed mentions, "Thomas Pratt, Administrator to the estate of Isaac Lewis". Thomas Pratt was the second husband of Mary Davis, the widow of Isaac Lewis 1657-1691.
