Israel Babcock was born 1670. Israel and his brother James Lewis both married Babcock sisters, Israel marrying Jane Babcock.[1] He died in Rhode Island in 1719 aged 49 years[2]. [3]
In the Westerly Town Council meeting of 7 September 1719,[4] his widow refuses to take administration of his estate. His son Benjamin takes the administration. His inventory was taken on 10 July 1719.[5]
The widow's third of the homestead was recorded n the 20 February 1719/20.[6]
