Biography

Stephen was born abt 1766 in Sussex Upon Delaware, son of Thomas Lewis and Leah UNKNOWN. [1]

Stephen married Rachel Meloy Ake before Feb 1810 as she was his wife in the Delaware probate records of Rachel's first husband Jonathan Ake. [2]

Stephen wrote his will 1 Nov 1849, probate 24 May 1853, "son Joseph ex, daus Rachel (wife of John Stone), Nancy (wife of David Long.)" He died between the 1850 census [3]

and the probate of his Will on 24 May 1853 in Dagsborough Hd., Sussex Co., Delaware [4]
