Hi Jim,

I see that you are creating numerous duplicates in the Goodenow family. The father Thomas Goodenow is a PGM profile. Also, none of your duplicates have sources. Please collaborate with the PGM project so that you don't create more duplicates.

Thank you

Hello!

I see that you are creating Pre-1700 profiles and using "ancestry.com" as a source, which is not acceptable. It is important to have adequate sources in place when Pre-1700 profiles are created. If you need to review sourcing guidelines, here is the link. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles Here is a link to the various project's sourcing guidelines. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Reliable_Sources_for_Pre-1700_Profiles If you're going to make changes to Pre-1700 profiles, there needs to be sources to back up your changes.

If you have questions, please ask.

Thanks!

Hello Jim,

are you a descendant of Christian Lehman from Speyerdorf, Germany? I'm an admin of the FTDNA project R-U152 and Subclades and I would like to test one of his descendants with a BigY (I would pay) to check if the family belongs to my haplogroup R-BY43393 (23andMe names the haplogroup R-F1947.2). Douglas Lehman has already tested positive for R-L2, but there is not a single BigY test yet. My email is [email address removed] . Thanks very much.

Hi Jim,

I noticed you've added several new profles to our tree. Thank you! Some of these profiles do not have sources attached and, instead, you are adding their DOB/DOD and their relationship to you (i.e. 5th great grandfather) in the source field. The name/DOB/DOD info can be put in the biography field; the relationship to you should be omitted as this is a shared tree. Remember ... you need to provide reliable sources for any pre-1700 profiles (sources are important for post-1700 profiles also, but they are required for pre-1700). See: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources. See also: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources.

Hi Jim,

In working profiles with no dates, I found a number of profiles that appear to represent living people. Please remember that living people who are not members of WikiTree should have unlisted profiles. I marked a number of them, you may want to review you watchlist for profiles with no dates.

Hello Jim,

My name is Ron, my maternal Grandmother was Dolores Lehman. You and I are cousins through Benedicht Lehman ( 1623- 1692).

You are his great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grand son; and I am his great, great, great, great, great, great, great grand son.

Just wanted to drop by and say hi.

Hi there Jim,

We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.

Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the badge, you can take part in one of our historical projects.

If you have any questions, you can contact one of our Mentors or Volunteer Coordinator, Erin .

Have a great day !

Jim, you wrote the following on my profile: "Ref Sarah Barker see John Putnam" - could you please provide a link to the Sarah Barker profile you're referencing? Thanks. (FYI, if you send a private message from the profile in question, it automatically links to that profile.)
