In 1850, John Little, a 41 year old shoemaker, lived with his wife Emeline, 36, and 5 children: Mary A., 15; Thomas, 13; Rebeca, 10; William, 8; and Robert Little, 5. Two others lived with the family: Sarah Easterby, 36., and Catherine Carmine, 44. The John Bomberger family is enumerated immediately above the Little family. All were born in Maryland except John and Sarah, who were born in England.[2]
'1860 US Federal Census District 3, Baltimore, Maryland
In 1860, William French, 34, was living with his wife Rebecca, 22 a shoemaker and two children: Alice, 3; and Wesley, 9/12. Robert Little, 16, a shoemaker's apprentice, and Almira Little, 47, are living with the family. All were born in Maryland.[3]
