Biography
Elsie May Holcomb passed away on August 22, 2015 at the age of 103. She was born October 19, 1911 in Stevens County, Kansas to W.C. and Zula Light and was the oldest daughter of ten children. Elsie married Howard Holcomb in 1933 and together, the two made a beautiful home and life on the farm. The couple raised six children. Elsie was a hard-working homemaker, seamstress, a great cook and a very fine artist. Those who knew her will always remember her dry and clever sense of humor.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, 3906 19th Avenue SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
