Margaret was born in Swartha, Silsden, 1832 & baptised Margaret Ann Loghtfoot, 4 December 1832 Kildwick, Yorkshire the daughter of William Lightfoot & Mary [1]
With siblings & parents in 1851 living in Swartha, Silsden, Yorkshire. She worked as a powerloom worsted weaver[2]
