Mothers name on Birth Cert is Eleanor. Married by Rev. Gillett in small Anglican church which stood near the corner of the road to Narrogin. With Charlotte managed the 'Old Williams Inn' which had a shingle roof, was 100 miles from the G.P.O. & was a stopping place on the 'Sound's Road' to Albany, or King George's Sound, for the Royal Mail Coach. The present hotel was built on the same site. After leaving Williams took up a farm at Cordering on the 'old Blackwood Rd' called 'Red Gum Soak' where most of their 12 children were born.
