Biography

Roswell was born in Chelsea, Vermont, 9 November 1819[1] and married in the same town 10 November 1841 Lucy D. Hood, daughter of Amos and Sally (Smith) Hood. She was born in Chelsea, Vermont 19 June 1823 and later lived in Manchester, New Hampshire. He died in Chelsea, Vermont, 24 December 1874.[2] They were the parents of one child, a daughter, Marcella, born in Albany, Vermont 19 June 1844.[3]
