Elizabeth Lindley was born 4 Oct 1720 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James Lindley and Eleanor Parke.

Elizabeth married her step-brother, George Jones, on 3 Feb 1740, St.George's Parish, Harford, Maryland. George Jones was son of Henry Jones by his first wife Loveday Archer. Her sister Mary Lindley married John Woody in same parish two years earlier so that there is some reason to believe that the Lindley girls had fallen away from Quakerism and were perhaps attending Episcopalian services. ^[1]

Elizabeth was born on 4 October 1720 in New Garden, Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. She was the daughter of James Lindley Jr and Eleanor (Parke) Jones.^[6][7]

When Elizabeth was 19 she married on 3 February 1740 in Perryville, Baltimore, Maryland, United States.^{[8][9][10][11][12]}

Elizabeth was buried in 1775 at an unknown location.^[13]
