Research Note

The name of Sir Alexander de Lindsay's wife is not known with any certainty, although she is believed to have been a sister of James, Steward of Scotland.[1][2] Therefore, Beatrix Stewart is being detached as the mother of the subject of this profile, until a reliable source can be found documenting this relationship.

I may be confused, but it seems that the Robert Erskine (Erskine-86) identified above as her second husband is her half-brother)?

That's *IF* her mother was Beatrix Stewart?

Caution?

Beatrice died BEFORE 1352 yet gave birth to Thomas in 1354. How can that happen ? Something is wrong with the dates.
