”In the name of God Amen, I Ann Zollicoffer of the county of Halifax & state of No. Carolina being weak in body but injoying sound mind & perfect memory thanks be given to God & calling to mind the mortality of my body, do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following. viz
”I first give to my son Julius H. Zollicoffer one bed and furniture[.] I give to my daughter Ann Webb all my wearing cloth[e]s and I give to my grandson Richard C. Webb one bed and furniture and I give to my son James Zollicoffer all the rest of my property[.] I give to my son James Zollicoffer four negroes Henry, Isham, Virgil, and Hollis and all my Crop of corn[,] fodder Cotton and ?? and all my stock of horses Cattle and hogs and all my bacon lard and soap and all my plantation tools and all my crop of  ?blandy and sider casks and all my household’s kitchen and dairy furniture. I give my son James Zollicoffer the above named property all but the two beds and my wearing cloths which I have before given away to my son Julius H. Zollicoffer and my daughter Ann Webb and my grandson Richard C. Webb
“but all the rest of my estate I give to my son James Zollicoffer and it is my Will that my son James Zollicoffer may pay all my just debts out of the property that I have given to him lastly I do hereby appoint and ordain my son James Zollicoffer to execute this my last Will and testament[.] In Witness whereof I the said Ann Zollicoffer have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 26 day of October in the year of 1827. – ANN ZOLLICOFFER (Seal)

Proved in Court of Pleas, Halifax County, North Carolina, 7 May 1834
James L. Zollicoffer renounced his right of Executorship in favor of Julius H. Zollicoffer
