- Elizabeth was originally attached as the mother of Patrick Graham, et al. and wife of WIlliam Graham. Unfortunately, no source lists the mother of Patrick or the wife of William. The mother-in-law of Patrick Graham, Elizabeth Lindsay. has the same name and similar birth and death dates. It is extremely likely that someone confused the mother-in-law to be his mother.
- Alison Weir opines that there were possibly two daughters of David Lindsay and Elizabeth Stewart who were both named 'Elizabeth' and that one married Robert Erskine and the other Roberth Keith, she then goes on to suggest they might have been the same woman with two different marriages.[1]
