Elizabeth was born on 29 March 1724 in Orange, Virginia. She was the daughter of James Lindsay and Sarah (Daniel) Lindsay.^[1]

Robert E Coleman married Elizabeth Lindsay in 1745 in Of, Orange, Virginia. Children included Robert Sr. Coleman.^[1]
