Biography

Gilbert Lipe was born Jan 15, 1826 and died November 4, 1909. He married Feb 29, 1848, Mary Keith.[1] Children:

  1. Melissa Isabelle. b. 1848; d. 1935
  2. Lena Emma. b. 1851; d. 1932
  3. Dora Anna. b. 1853; d. 1948
  4. Alva. b. 1856; d. 1887

Research Notes

There is some question as to which Lipe brother, Jacob or Jonas, and their respective wives were the parents of Gilbert born in 1823. Obituaries for Gilbert and and the other children of both couples may help resolve this question.
