William Lippiatt was born in 1811[1][2] in Dunkerton, Somerset, England to John Lippiatt and Elizabeth (Kelson) Lippiatt. He was the son of George Lippiatt and Elizabeth Kelson. He passed away in 1890[3].
He was baptised on 6 Jan 1811 at All Saints in Dunkerton[1][2][4].
He married Sarah Hutton on 8th Sep 1834 in St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol[5][6].
In 1841 William Lippiatt (age 30-34) lived in Camerton with his wife Sarah (35-39), son John Kelson (5), and five stepchildren: Sarah Ann Kembry (15-19), Mary Kembry (13), Robert Kembry (11), Isaac Kembry (9), and Hannah Kembry (7).[7]
In 1851 William Lippiatt (age 38 [~40], Farmer) lived at Wall Mead in Timsbury, Somerset with his stepson-in-law James Drury Collier (28, Agricultural Labourer) and stepdaughter Sarah Ann Collier (25).[8][9] His wife Sarah (47) was visiting with her daughter Mary Rawlins in Paulton, Somerset.
In 1871 William Lippiatt (age 60, Farmer 33 Acres) lived at Upper Stoke in Bradford, Wiltshire with his wife Sarah (68), son Charles (26, Assistant Farmer), daughter-in-law Elizabeth (30), and grandson Fred C (1).[10]
In 1881 Wm Lippiatt (age 70, Farmer) lived in Upton Bishop, Herefordshire with his wife Sarah (78).[11]
William Lippiatt passed away in 1890, aged 78 years. His death was registered in Ross, Herefordshire in the first quarter of the year[3].[12]
