William married Deborah C. Evans, daughter of John Evans and Rebecca Cowperthwaite, on 15 April 1841 at the Cropwell Meeting, Burlington County, Under The Care Of Upper Evesham Monthly Meeting, New Jersey.[8][9][10]
On 18 December 1846, William C. Lippincott was on the board of directors of the Milford Glass Company. He and the other directors: Nathan M. Lippincott, William C. Lippincott, Freedom W. Lippincott, Mathias L. Pimmerman (?) and William Wisham bought a piece of property from David and Jemina Ann Walton in Waterford, Camden, New Jersey.[11]
A side note: The Milford Glass Company was one of the glass companies that produced the The Jenny Lind Calabash Flasks, from circa 1845 to 1865. This flask, commemorated Jenny Lind, a Swedish soprano, who embarked on a nationwide tour with P.T. Barnum in September 1850. Jenny sold out every concert in America well ahead of each scheduled event in each major United States city in her whirlwind tour.[12]
