Many in this vicinity attended the funeral of Noah Littlefield, whose death occurred June 12th in West Prospect, at the home of Albion Clark. Manson Littlefield and Helen Dunaver were in Thorndike June 14th where they accompanied the body of their father, Noah Littlefield, for interment in the village cemetery. He is the son of Isaac Littlefield and Maribah Linscot. [1]
Highlights in obituary: Passed in Prospect on June 12, 1916, aged 68 years, 6 months and 4 days. He was the son of Isaac and Meriba Littlefield of Thorndike and one of a large family of children. In 1872 he married Mary A. Brown of Knox who died (hard to read Sept. 9, 1900). He is survived by five children, Jesse F. of Jackson; Howard J., Henry E., Mason G., and Mrs. Helen Dunaver, all of Stockton Springs, also an aged brother. (Below this is very hard to read but mentions 3 children who passed.) The obituary goes on to the next column and mentions; The remains were taken to Thorndike for interment in family lot, June 15, accompanied by two of his children, Mason and Helen.[2]
