Married (1) Edward M. Roe on October 29, 1812, Fleming County, Kentucky, and they divorced in 1838. She married (2) Rev. Daniel Duff on March 16, 1851, Carter County, Kentucky after his first wife, Nancy Ann Allison, died.

Atha was the maternal fourth great-grandmother of Naomi Judd and maternal fifth great-grandmother of Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd.

  1. Daniel Duff died on August 15, 1855, and was buried near Olive Hill, Kentucky. His grave hasn't been identified; family tradition has it that he is buried in the same cemetery as his second wife, Ellen Roe (Ellen Littleton Roe Duff).
