Atha was the maternal fourth great-grandmother of Naomi Judd and maternal fifth great-grandmother of Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd.

Daniel Duff died on August 15, 1855, and was buried near Olive Hill, Kentucky. His grave hasn't been identified; family tradition has it that he is buried in the same cemetery as his second wife, Ellen Roe (Ellen Littleton Roe Duff).
