Biography

Frances was born on August 10, 1854 at Chitwood ( now called Winfield ) in Scott County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Oliver Litton and Nellie ( Brown ) Litton . She married Ewell Phillips on July 5, 1879 at Huntsville in Scott County. She passed away from arteriosclerosis and mycardial insufficiency on October 29, 1948 at home in Winfield.
