Margaret was the daughter of Rev. William Livingston and his second wife Ann Bolton of the Province of South Carolina.
On 3 January 1738 she married John Cattell, Jr.[1]
Margaret Cattell, wife of John Cattell, died 15 October 1770 at age 50 and was buried in the family burying ground in St. Andrews Parish.[2][3][4]
