William was the son of Henry Livingston and Rebecca Sawyer Pemberton of Barbados and the Province of South Carolina. Henry and Rebecca were married in 1718, and she died about 1723. William could have been born in Barbados or South Carolina.
He and his brother Henry were left 1,000 acres of land in Colleton County by their uncle William Livingston in 1723.[1]They were the primary beneficiaries of their father's Will about 1727,[2]and their stepmother Ann Livingston's 1732 Will. They were both under age 21 in 1732.[3]
On 20 October 1744 Henry Livingston of Colleton County and William Livingston of Craven County sold to George Mitchell a tract of land in Colleton County, part of of tract of 1,000 acres left to them by the 1723 Will of William Livingston. No wives are named in the deed.[4]
William Livingston had died intestate before 9 June 1754 when his brother Henry sold a tract of undivided land left them by their uncle William Livingston.[5]
