Biography

Marie Anne Lizot was born 2 Dec 1715 and baptized in the Chappel of Saint-Pierre. She was the daughter of Joseph Lizot and Marie Françoise Dancosse of Pointe Rouge and her godparents were Charles Pelletier and Marie Anne Dancosse. [2]

Antoine Dionne dit Sansoucy, son of Jean Dionne and Marie Charlotte Mignot of the parish of Sainte-Anne, and Marie Anne Lizot, daughter of Joseph Lizot and Marie Françoise Dancosse of the parish of Saint-Roch, were married 21 Jun 1734 in the parish of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, La Pocatière, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Present at the marriage were Jean Dionne, Joseph Lizot, Nöel Lizot, Joseph Meneux, Joseph and Augustin Dionne, Joseph Caron and Joseph Delorme. [4]

Marie Anne Lizotte was listed as deceased on the marriage record of her daughter Marie Anne Dionne 14 Feb 1757.

The records of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière from 12 Jul 1755 to 11 May 1759 are missing “c’est la guerre”. [5] It is likely Marie Anne Lizotte died during this period.
