Henriette was baptised 2 April 1832 in Salonica. She was the daughter of William Benning LLewellyn and Francoise Perpignani Plitas. Her godmothers were Rowena Helena Henriette Giraud and Marie (Henriette) Amélie Joséphine Lochner. Her father was the United States Consul in Salonica.
Henriette married Pietro (Pierre) Aliotti in Izmir, Turkey in 1853 and they had 4 children.
She was buried in the Kemer (Caravan Bridge) Catholic cemtery in Smyrna, Turkey which was detroyed in 1970 for re-development. No official records were preserved but Livio Missir published a plan and history of the cemetery in French in 1972, part of which may be seen here http://www.levantineheritage.com/book70.htm
