Gawdyn, of Meisgyn, Penychen, Glamorgan, Wales, was born about about 1305[citation needed] to Llywelyn ap Cynwrig and Jonet ferch Cynfyn Fychan.[1] He married a daughter of Rhys and was the father of Ann, who married Bleddyn ap Hywel. Gawdyn died in Wales in. . .
1344[citation needed] (daughter Ann's profile shows birth in 1346)
The relationship of Gawdyn and his father was marked uncertain, possibly as a leftover from when this profile was attached to one with death date of about 1280 (now ap_Hywel-45). The relationship status has changed (since it cannot be cleared) to Confident. Confident may be a bit strong, but Uncertain is too strong the other way.

The Bartrum charts are still available online here, but not as a searchable database (as of 2023). See this G2G post.

Changing to 1348 death date would fix that (profile attached for daughter has her birth 1346; Gawdyn's profile has his death in 1344).
Please contact me if you think the LNAB should be ap Llywelyn (Ll_y_welyn) instead of ap Ll_e_welyn.
