continued: There are several Ancestry trees that give this30 Dec. birthdate. The only ones that I have found with a source relates to Henry born to Sampson Lloyd and Rachel Barnes and registered at a Quaker meeting in Warwickshire not London. (However there is also a Henry Lloyd b 1784 Warwickshire who was in London in 1851)

I tried to find this info out of interest because my alleged connection with the Queen goes via my husbands South African ancestors to here but at the moment I can't see any evidence for this part of the chain.

Henry LLoyd, 1820 settler to South Africa brother in law of Mary de Visme Harness maker .

http://www.eggsa.org/1820-settlers/index.php/settler-returns/1968-willson-s-party see also http://www.eggsa.org/1820-settlers/index.php/additional-information/l-surnames/1591-lloyd-henry-extra-data The father of Samuel Whitham Lloyd was recorded at his baptism in St Olaves,Bermondsey as an orange merchant.

He certainly had a daughter christened Alicia Packenham in 1826 but as John says below his mother cannot have been this Catherine Packenham http://www.eggsa.org/newspapers/index.php/south-african-commercial-advertiser/10-sac-1826-mar-sep I haven't been able to find any evidence of his parents .There is this http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/SOUTH-AFRICA-EASTERN-CAPE/2008-02/12024884 ( but birth certs pre1820? )

I've put a note on Catherine Pakenham's profile that her husband was Arthur Wellesly, 1st Duke of Wellington, not Henry Llewellyn Lloyd, but there is also the issue that she would have only been 11 years old, when Henry Lloyd was born in 1784.
