Biography

Sarah Brooks or Sarah Lnuk Brooks
It's very likely that Sarah's last name was Brooks not Lnuk. (manager probably needs to change the last name at birth.) (familysearch.org has no Lnuk in Ireland. There are, however, many Brooks families. Most of them around Dublin though.)[1]

Born 1680 County Tyrone, Ulster Province, Ireland[2] (Found multiple copies of birth date using 1680)

She was the daughter of Peter Brooks and Hannah Hubbard.[3] They were born about 1660 and died about 1740 in Ireland.

She married John Nicholas Casey in 1698, in Ireland.
They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter.

Her sons, Abner & Peter sailed to America in 1725.

She died in 1771, in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, at the age of 91,

Possible Children:

  1. Nicholas Casey, b abt 1698
  2. John Casey, b abt 1698
  3. Abner Brooks Casey, b abt 1700 N. Ireland; m Harriet Green in Baltimore, MD 1725; d 1786 Newberry Co, SC
  4. Randolph Casey, b abt 1700; d 1742

  7. Peter Casey, b abt 1703 N. Ireland; m Mary Magdalina Dupuis (Depuy) abt 1740; d 1787 Hampshire Co, WV

Research Notes

Lnuk stands for Last Name Unknown. She is not the same person that died in England.

There were also lots of Caseys around Dublin. Perhaps after John and Sarah married they moved to Tyrone County (just a thought).

Could you please change her LAST NAME AT BIRTH to unknown per wikitree standards, because there are wikitree groups that specifically work on profiles with the surname "unknown" in order to try and find out their surnames were. But nobody will work search and work on LNUK (lastname unknown).

If you don't know how to do this, I can do it for you, if you add me to this profile's trusted list. Thanks for your help with this.

Since Casey is her married surname, can you please change her maiden surname to the wikitree standard of "unknown" ? Thanks
