Bertie was born 16 Nov 1899 at Antlers, Jack's Fork, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory[2], the daughter of Elisha Sharp Locke and Jane Elizabeth Davenport. Bertie passed away 7 Nov 1989 at Hugo, Choctaw, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma.[3]
Bertie was a resident of Hugo. She never married but raised her two nephews, Jess and Royal Locke.
