Mary Elizabeth Patton was born about 1705, the daughter of William Patton. Her father's location at this time was uncertain (see "Patton Lineages" with primary sources listed), possibly in Pennsylvania, or Delaware or possibly not yet in America. Her mother's name is apparently not known but an argument is made for "Jane" in Patton Lineage based on a William Patton & wife Jane witnessing a marriage, and based on a sister named "Jane Patton" who apparently married a John Graham.
She first married John Locke and on her gravestone, shared with John Brandon, is listed as Elizabeth Lock (no trailing "E").
She second married John Richard Brandon and was listed as "Elizabeth Brandon" in the 5 Sep 1742 will of her father, William Patton, written at West Marlborough, Chester County, Pennsylvania.[1] The will did not list William's wife so presumably she was dead by this date.
She died 10 Aug 1760 in Rowan, North Carolina and is buried in Thyatira Presbyterian Church cemetery.

Brandon-1125 and Patton-1692 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Bio of Brandon-1125 states her maiden name was Locke; Locke was actually the surname of her first husband, as reflected in Patton-1692.
