Biography

Silas was born in 1869. He was the son of Silas Lockhart and Hannah Hicks. He passed away in 1940.

The Kings County Record (Sussex, NB, November 28 1890) noted:

S.A. Lockhart, who learned the blacksmith trade with Geo. Ellison here, has gone to the Pacific coast. He has friends in Washington State and has gone to set up business there.
